Fluorescent Label Paper

Fluorescent label paper is a paper facestock, typically 70–80 gsm, coated with bright neon pigment in red, green, orange or yellow. The high-chroma surface is designed to be seen quickly across a room, so it is used where a label must attract attention or flag an exception rather than carry fine decorative print.

Buyers apply it to retail markdown and promotion labels, warehouse and inventory flags, quality-hold and rework tags, and picking or routing marks in distribution centres. Converters print it mainly in dense black or single spot colours for maximum legibility.

Select adhesive by whether labels are permanent or must peel from packaging afterwards, and liner by applicator. Fluorescent pigments fade under sunlight and UV, so treat these as short-term indoor labels; barcode scan rates vary by colour and scanner, and outdoor or long storage use should be confirmed with sample testing.

Yes, in addition to flexo, letterpress and screen printing, fluorescent stock accepts UV inkjet and toner-based digital presses for short-run pricing or promotional labels, though dark inks still give the strongest contrast against the neon base.

Store rolls away from direct light and heat to preserve the neon pigment before use — prolonged light exposure fades fluorescent colours over time, in storage as well as in service. Exact recommended storage duration is confirmed on the datasheet; request it along with a free sample.
