Holographic Label Material

Holographic label material is a metallized film facestock, commonly 50–60 µm, embossed with a microscopic diffraction pattern that splits light into shifting rainbow colours as the viewing angle changes. The effect cannot be reproduced by conventional printing, so it serves both as decoration and as an immediately visible authenticity cue on the pack.

Brands use it for premium cosmetics, spirits, electronics and collectibles, and for warranty and authentication seals. Converters run stock rainbow and pattern films, or custom-origination designs for a brand-specific look.

Decide between stock and custom patterns against volume and lead time, check ink and varnish adhesion to the embossed surface, and confirm print register on a moving diffraction ground. Also consider adhesive for the container, whether a destructible or VOID construction is needed for security, and barcode contrast — confirm with sample testing.
