PE Film Label Material

PE film label material is a soft, conformable polyethylene facestock of roughly 85–100 µm, supplied white or clear, that flexes and recovers together with the container it is applied to. It is used where a stiffer film such as BOPP would crease, flag or spring back — squeeze tubes, soft bottles and pouches that are pressed repeatedly in use.

Typical buyers are cosmetics, personal-care and household brands filling lotions, gels, sauces and cleaners. Converters value the way PE hides squeeze marks and keeps corners down on oval and small-diameter packs.

Match film gauge and stiffness to container wall thickness, select an adhesive with enough initial tack for low surface-energy PE and HDPE bottles, and check print method — PE needs suitable corona treatment or top-coat and behaves differently under UV heat. Recovery after squeezing depends on the pack — confirm with sample testing.
