What is thermal synthetic label material?
Thermal synthetic replaces the paper base of a thermal label with a film — usually PP, PET or BOPP — carrying a direct thermal or thermal transfer receptive coating. The result is a thermal label that is waterproof, tear-proof and chemically resistant, for environments where paper disintegrates.
Typical uses are horticulture and nursery tags exposed to irrigation, laboratory and chemical containers, outdoor logistics, and reusable-container labelling. Combined with a protected coating it can be immersed, wiped down and handled with gloves without losing the barcode.
