Linerless label material is a direct thermal or film facestock coated with a release layer on its printed side instead of being carried on a separate silicone liner, so the roll winds directly onto itself. Removing the liner puts more labels on each roll and eliminates the silicone waste that normally goes to landfill after application.

It is used in parcel and grocery logistics, weigh-scale and deli counters, food-to-go labelling and variable-length shipping labels, where fewer roll changes and less waste handling save real time.
