Kraft label paper is an uncoated facestock of about 70–90 gsm made from strong kraft pulp, supplied in natural brown or white with a visible fibrous texture. It gives labels a rustic, hand-made character while remaining writable and easy to die-cut, so small-batch brands get an artisanal look without extra finishing steps.

It is popular for preserves, honey and condiment jars, craft beverages, soaps and candles, bakery packaging, and gift or subscription boxes; converters run it for short and medium runs with one- and two-colour designs.

Because the brown ground shifts printed colours, plan spot colours or a white underprint, and test barcode contrast before committing. Pick adhesive for glass, tin or board and consider service conditions: kraft is uncoated, so fridge condensation, oils and long wet storage can stain or weaken it — confirm with sample testing.
